AXC is proposing a tailored approach specifically adapted to the needs of client and stakeholder, we offer a full range of contractual delivery methods. Our vision is to develop long-lasting transparent partnership business relationships with our clients.
AXC believe that a single contractual approach is not adapted to all projects. AXC is able to participate and advise stakeholder on the possibilities of project execution and can propose approach suited to your budget, your sensitivity to risk (costs, quality, delays), your deadlines to meet, the progress and definition of your project, your desire to get involved in the project, your expertise, and your procurement rules as well as your funding or operational needs.

Construction methods

Project management services

Whether you want to act as Builder-Owner, have a contract management needs (firms, contractors, supplier) or for any internal management approach (processes, approvals, standards, certifications, accounting procedures, purchases, etc.), we can propose the resources to support or undertake the management of your construction project.

Management

Our Management method put AXC in charge of the Construction execution of the project on a cost-plus basis. AXC will execute the project based on detailed engineering documents and specifications completed by a third party.

The client is then responsible for the management of professional designers and the monitoring activities (professionals, tests, laboratories, etc.). This method is advantageous when the client has a large qualified team directing the design and monitoring and has more time given that the activities are carried out “in series”. Despite it being an open book approach allowing for all changes to be dealt with transparently, this method does not suit changes very well as they have a significant impact on project costs and deadlines. In conclusion, it is well adapted to clients that want to have control of the execution of their project, but that are however not sensitive to risks given their major responsibility when it comes to the deadlines, quality and costs of the project.

General Contracting (Traditional)

Our General Contracting or Traditional method put AXC in charge of the Construction of your project on a lump sum basis. The estimation is based on detailed plans and specifications completed by a third party.

Our EPCM method consists in making AXC fully responsible for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management of your project on a cost-plus basis.

DBOT method

Our DBOT method, also offered as a PPP, consists in entrusting AXC with the Design and Construction of your project on a fixed-rate basis as well as services linked to Exploitation (operation) and Maintenance of the work according to the client’s duration and pricing basis (fixed rate, cost-plus or unit costs).

This method has the same characteristics as the EPC method, but also allows the client to deal with only one stakeholder over the project’s full lifecycle and to benefit from the knowledge of the designer and builder for the operation and maintenance of the work.

DBOOT method

Our DBOOT method, also offered as a PPP, consists in entrusting AXC with the Design, Construction, Funding, Exploitation (operation) and Maintenance of the project. AXC thereby finances the construction from the operating revenues themselves on a unit-cost or fixed-rate basis, before transferring ownership to the owner after a determined operating period.
